Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Mumbai - Mumbai / Goa (9W479 – 63/73)
On arrival at Mumbai airport, our representative will greet you and will accompany you and will accompany you to your private car.

From there you will proceed towards the domestic airport and board the flight to Goa. On arrival in Goa, you will be greeted by our representative and will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel Fort Aguada Beach Resort.

Goa: East and west come together in this sun-soaked state, where the beaches have long served as a magnet for hedonists and Indian culture intertwines with Portuguese influences left over from a 500-year occupation. To the north, the tourist-centric scene is prevalent and south for stretches of unspoiled sand and an escape from large resorts. Temples, mosques and wildlife sanctuaries provide diversions from the beach.

When in Goa, you will absolutely be stunned by a series of attractions, the amazing beaches and palm grooves, the arty Old churches, people dressed in Portuguese apparels and a relaxing atmosphere.

Goa is a paradise for every water sport lover as it is enclosed by the admirable Arabian sea in its west. Your holiday becomes not only relaxing but thrilling too! Be it really fast ones like jet skiing and wind surfing or the tamer ones like scuba diving, there is something for everyone.

Day 2: Goa
The day is scheduled for local sightseeing. After having breakfast, move out to explore the sunny beauty of Goa on your own. Goa is famous for its churches and beaches; also you can visit the popular wildlife sanctuaries, the grand mosques and marvelous temples of Goa.

Additionally do some shopping arcade in any of beach-side bazaars or city markets. For shopaholics, Goa offers many places where you will find an ambit of items including handicrafts, electronic items and souvenirs like coral rings and sea shells.

You can enjoy the other tourist destinations of Goa, but these visits will be on your own expenses and are not included in the tour.

Day 3: Goa/ Badami
A drive to Badami early in the morning. On arrival at Badami, check-in to the Hotel Badami Court.

After taking some rest, a scheduled tour of Badami. It is known for rock sculpture and temple architecture. Badami was also known Vatapi and was founded by a Chalukya ruler named Pulakesi in the 6th century.

Here, you can find many historic inscriptions which are very ancient and more than 18 inscriptions have been found written in Kannada script.

Day 4: Badami / Hampi
After breakfast, leave for Hampi. Check-in to the Hampi Boulders on arrival. The resort lies 7kms from hampi and is situates in the Yamani Hills on the banks of the sacred river Tungabhadra. The Tungabhadra River gently flows to create a beautiful series of naturally sculpted rock formations. From your splendid Hampi Boulders resort you can view natural flow of river Tungabhadra through the rocky terrains.

Hampi is one of the World Heritage Sites and is the most charismatic of all the ruins of Karnataka. This was the capital of the Hindu empire, Vijayanagar, who ruled the south India during 14th to 16th century AD. Now the city is in ruins, but still ancient and glorious temples, grand monuments and palaces make it favourite among tourists.

Day 5: Hampi
After having a delightful breakfast, get ready for a city tour of Hampi. In Hampi at every turn there is a surprise. King’s Balance: this is 5-meter tall ‘balance’ is located near the Vittala temple. Also called as Tula Bhara or Tula Purushadana, the king used to weigh himself with gold, gems, silver and precious stones, and distributed to the poor. Queen's Bath, located in Royal Enclosure, is a rectangular building with the long veranda inside approaching a square tank of 6 feet depth from all sides.

There are many famous temples in the city which we also visit like Lotus Mahal, pushkarni tank and Mahanavami Dibba, etc. These magnificent temples are inspired by scriptures of Ramayana and the Mahabharata.

Day 6: Hampi / Chikmagalur
Ride back to Goa after having breakfast. On arrival, check-in to hotel Taj Garden Retreat.

Day 7: Chikmagalur / Halebid / Belur / Hassan
After having breakfast, drive to Hassan. We will also visit Belur and Halebid on the way to Hassan. On arrival, get ready for an expedition to Belur and Halebid – the temple cities of Karnataka which are larger than villages. Here in the temples you can see artistic form of architecture which is inspired by Hoyasala.

Both these temples are masterpieces, with their exteriors adorned with horizontal friezes, sculptured in succession from the bottom. Stories from the Puranas, the Upanishads and other mythological sources have been executed in most exquisite and authentic detail, as have tales from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Each work has significance.

Day 8: Hassan / Sharavan Belagola / Mysore
Get ready after breakfast to visit the scared place of Jains called Shravan Belagola. Thousands of people who belong to Jain religion come to this place.

Then proceed towards Mysore. On arrival in Mysore, check-in to the hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace.

Later in the day, we will explore the vibrant Devaraja Fruit and vegetable market where fruits and vegetables are arranged in a way that they seem very fascinating to the eyes. The fruits and vegetables are arranged in amazing patterns which resemble hills

Day 9: Mysore / Bangalore / Cochin (9W3527 - 1745/195)
Post breakfast, we will go for a city tour of Mysore city. Mysore, the capital city of the Wodeyars this tourist place allures people from all over with its palaces, beautifully laid-out gardens, imposing buildings, broad shady avenues and sacred temples.

Also visit the temple of Shri Chamundeshwari, which is situated on the Chamundi hills and is famous for Nandy temple which is Lord Shiva’s vehicle. It is made up of single granite stone. Also on the top of the hill there is Goddess Chamundi temple.

In the afternoon, we will leave for Bangalore airport, from where you will board the flight to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, you will be assisted by our representative and will be transferred to your hotel The Brunton Boatyard. The hotel is strategically situated right at the Fort Kochi in Cochin. The fort is built on the old Portuguese architecture.

During your stay at the hotel, you will not find a single dull moment as boats of every size and colour and the mammoth Ocean liners will keep you occupied as you see them right from your window.

The History restaurant is the most famous dining space of the hotel; you get a beautiful view of the pool garden and the sea while having your meal.

Day 10: Cochin
Have breakfast and get ready to explore Cochin. We start with Cochin Fort which is bounded by water front all sides and was constructed some 1000 years back.

One community of Cochin is very interesting and that is the fishing community. They use the ancient Chinese Fishing Nets called as cheenawala. The net is left for a short time, possibly just a few minutes, before it is raised by pulling on ropes. Sights of both photographic and cultural importance would be viewed by you.

Then, we will explore the Mattancherry Palace, widely known as the Dutch Palace. Though, it was built by the Portuguese in the middle of the 16th century. This structure was taken over in 1663 by the Dutch, who added some improvements before presenting it to the Rajas of Cochin.

Synagogue Jewish Monument is one of the ancient synagogues which are the epitome of mutual harmony. The interiors of the monument is made up of Chinese tiles and amazing Belgians chandeliers.

The famous shopping destination is Mattancherry also called Jew Street. Here, you can find crafts, jewellery and fashionable clothes.

Kathakali Dance : An appropriate amusement awaits us in the evening as we move forward to attend the backbone and ability of Kathakali, the dance drama of Kerala, as it enacts episodes from abundant Indian epics. The acutely majestic gestures, the intricate make-up, the masks and the extravagant apparels entice you.

Day 11: Cochin / Kumarakom
Have delicious and appetizing breakfast transfer to kumarakom. This place is known for its serene and calming Backwaters which awaits you with its bountiful natural beauty.

On arrival at Kumarakom, check-in to the Coconut Lagoon, this is one of the top heritage resorts. Coconut Lagoon Resort is an attempt to capture the essence of the Kerala experience and then offer it in a unique setting. The resort is reachable only over the water. It nestles along one shore of the Vembanad Lake.

Day 12: Kumarakom
The whole day is kept for you to relax, for individual activities. There are many options you can choose from, you can enjoy the relaxing ayurvedic body massage at the resort, you can also walk around the surrounding tribal villages or visit bird sanctuary. You can also relax in your houseboat enjoying ride through backwater.

Day 13: Kumarakom / Trivandrum / Trivandrum Departure
After a delightful breakfast, you will accompanied to the Trivandrum airport, from there you can proceed your journey back home.
